Continuous Duct Rodders, manufactured by GMP, are the best performing and most durable duct rodders available. Having decades of field experience on our side, this high visibility orange rod material has the right combination of mechanical properties, including tensile strength, modulus, stiffness, and bending behavior. For tasks such as locating and cleaning ducts, threading lines, or pulling cables, these duct rodders are essential tools. Continuous Duct Rodders are offered by GMP in a variety of sizes, tensile strengths, and pull strengths.
Toneable Duct Rodders
GMP offers two sizes in the toneable duct rodders: one that is ⅜ inches in diameter and one that is ½ inches in diameter. With detectable duct rods, one does not have to dig a trench when to find, follow, and accurately map the duct route. Instead, a signal transmitter and receiver are used in conjunction with the rodders to transmit an easily identifiable signal over the entire length of the rod. Tonable duct rods have an AWG copper wire located in the center of the fiberglass core, making them almost twice the size of the competition. Therefore, directly connecting the signal to the copper wire is the most effective signal transmission method.
Continuous Duct Rodder Accessories
GMP offers optional duct rodder accessory kits in addition to its Continuous Duct Rodders. Technicians can store these kits conveniently in a canvas bag. The duct rodder accessory kits come equipped with the essentials you’ll need to use and repair a broken rod. Standard rod kits, splice repair kits, and fitting repair kits are just a few of the accessories offered by GMP.
