CBM, Inc. of Lee’s Summit, MO is proud to announce our participation in the 45th annual Underground, Overhead, Metering School (UOM) held in Garden City, KS. CBM has provided training and demonstrations for each of the last 45 years, training an estimated 15,000 linemen. This year Dan McMullen, Preformed Line Products, and Mike Quay, ABB Installation Products (Elastimold Cable Accessories), taught 250 electrical linemen and technicians over a period of two and a half days.
CBM also displayed LED fixtures from American Electric Lighting, promoted TransGard Animal Deterrent Systems for substations, as well as Siemens switches and products from many of our other manufacturers.
The UOM school is a non-profit training event sponsored by the City of Garden City, Kansas Electrical Cooperatives, Pioneer Electric Cooperative, and Wheatland Electric Cooperative. The school provides more than 40 vendor displays to keep the students well informed about the latest innovations and technology.
